Honey and its Benefits
Honey is a natural energy booster and a great energy builder.It is a natural source of carbohydrates which provide strength and energy to our bodies. The glucose in honey is absorbed by the body quickly and gives an immediate energy boost, while the fructose is absorbed more slowly providing sustained energy.
In Islam The Prophet (Peach be Upon Him) has said "Honey is a remedy for every physical illness and the Qur’an is a remedy for all mental illness; therefore, I recommend to you both as remedies, the Qur’an and honey.” Rasulullah (pbuh) used to eat honey early in the morning, at noon and during the afternoon when his stomach was empty.
